Amazing product and brilliant bang-for-your-buck

I bought this in January 2009 to add further value to my Netflix subscription. Has far exceeded my expectations and proved to be one of the best $ 100 I spent a long time. This is particularly true in a down economy.

Here are the positive and negative, I saw the product after 2 months of daily use

Strengths:
1) enormous savings of money: Since this window has allowed me to spend an unlimited 3-disc unlimited disk and the cable down altogether. Adding Amazon on Demand is an even greater value as the newly released films will be available in abundance.
2) Ease of installation and use: I'm a fan of Apple die hard because of their ease of use, and the implementation process was easier than I ever knew. In less than four minutes, I saw a stream Netflix on my Sony HD TV. Furthermore, the user interface is as simple as possible. A lot of thought into it, and it shows. Congratulations to one of the simplest interfaces I've ever used.
3) The clarity of the image: Unsrupassed and almost full HD. We often forget that we are streaming on the Internet.
4) It works exactly as advertised!
5) Customer Service: The movie has been illegally and contacted the customer service. You do not believe that a real person answers the phone in 5 minutes on a Sunday evening. It turns out that was a network problem (see below). Amazing customer service!

Disadvantages:
1) The quality of your image is tied to the speed of your Internet. This was a question once. My Charter Cable modem service averages more than 4 MB downstream, but sometimes drops the network performance. A call to the Charter, it shall set. This is not a problem with the device, just something to be aware. Check with service provider for speed before buying.
2) a direct Ethernet connection recommended for best picture: This is a limitation of my wireless network, but you can also have a similar structure. My laptop has a wireless G, and when it is online the whole network slows down, and quality wireless video immediately. It 'was resolved using a direct Ethernet connection, and recommend to all who are capable of. interruption much more stable and very limited.

It 'my opinion so far. If you have Netflix and Amazon on Demand you want to get there is little that will be a pleasure to use and provides very little bang for your dollars. Thanks to Roku, Netflix and Amazon for this wonderful product.
